How do I know which engine fits my machine?
Open your machine page on this site (or search by model). It names the engine family and links to the live listing. Call (855) 384-6071 with your engine serial number and we will confirm exact fitment before you buy.
Do you sell new surplus or rebuilt engines?
Both. We stock new-surplus and rebuilt Caterpillar, Perkins, Mitsubishi and Shibaura industrial engines and ship from Houston.
What is an engine serial number prefix?
On some families (for example Cat C4.4) the first characters stamped on the block identify the injection version. Where we have that data, engine guide pages show sample prefixes under “Sample serial number prefixes.”
Can I buy from the machine page?
Yes. Every machine page has a compulsory Buy link to the live money/listing page for that fitment.
Why does an engine page link to a hub URL as canonical?
Engine guide pages summarize a family. The canonical points to the live engine hub so Google consolidates ranking on the stock/hub URL (capitalisation kept exact).
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. Engines ship from our Houston, TX warehouse nationwide.
Are you an authorized Caterpillar or Perkins dealer?
No. We sell new-surplus and rebuilt engines. We are not authorized dealers for Caterpillar or Perkins.
